Howard Eddings Jr. is a son of Memphis.

Growing up in Orange Mound, he saw first-hand the challenges some in the community faced to secure a basic human need – safe, affordable housing.

“I felt compelled to respond to those challenges,” Eddings said.

Influenced by adults close to him who rooted their lives in faith, Eddings followed the example they set – to serve others.

A former framer and builder by trade, Eddings was always good at working with his hands.

Today, he works with NHO Management, a Community Development Corporation with a mission to provide safe and affordable rental housing to families in Memphis.
