Senior Loan Office - Little Rock or Texarkana, Arkansas
Communities Unlimited Inc., is seeking to fill a position for a Senior Loan Office based in our Little Rock, Arkansas office. The Senior Loan Officer is responsible for marketing loan products and other services available from CU; originating, underwriting and managing loan requests from throughout our target market, monitoring the performance of loan portfolios; coordinating the use of Nortridge Loan software; and oversight of all reporting and data collection.

CU is a nonprofit community development organization founded in Arkansas in 1976. CU’s mission is to move rural and under-resourced communities in areas of persistent poverty to sustainable prosperity. CU was certified by the US Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in 2001. Through its lending programs, Communities Unlimited helps small communities maintain basic services like safe drinking water and wastewater disposal and helps small business owners reach profitable growth leading to new local jobs and opportunities. Additionally, our Nuestra Casa loan program helps low-income residents in the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas improve their living conditions.

CU staff provide a full range of management consulting, technical assistance, access to financing and training to strengthen communities and small businesses across the following seven states: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

Management Consultant - Memphis, TN
Communities Unlimited, Inc. is seeking to fill a position for a Management Consultant based in Memphis, TN.  This position is responsible for partnering with entrepreneurs and small business owners to provide consulting covering business management, accounting, financial projections, marketing and other services. These are most often entrepreneurs with limited access to traditional resources and/or  in small communities throughout the Mid-South and in project locations in some of CU’s other states. CU consultants work onsite and virtually, supported by a variety of technology and communication tools. Training in the application of tools and resources used by CU is provided.
