Angela H. Brown has spent more than 35 years as a cosmetologist. After watching friends lose self-confidence due to hair loss, Angela created her own hair-care line, D’Serv. She started the business thanks in part to a small business loan from Communities Unlimited. She also received assistance in creating financial projections and a marketing strategy. She has since opened a salon as well in Memphis, TN, called the D’Serv Healthy Hair Salon.
