Communities Unlimited, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community development organization founded in Arkansas in 1976. CU’s mission is to move rural and under-resourced communities in areas of persistent poverty to sustainable prosperity. CU staff provides a full range of management consulting, technical assistance, financing, and training to strengthen communities and small businesses. We serve the following seven states: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.
