Where are they now?

Hear from Makeda’s Cookies, Five In One Social Club and Memphis Guitar Spa about their MEMShop experience and where they are now.

The Memphis Guitar Spa gained national attention when it was announced on Good Moring America that  Justin Timberlake’s guitarist Elliot Ives would perform at the 2015 CMA’s with the first of their Ferner & Hilboldt Classic Series Custom guitars. The Classic T (pictured at left) was built specifically for Elliot Ives.  Owner’s Hans Hilboldt and Kevin Ferner opened The Guitar Spa on Broad Avenue as a MEMShop. They appreciate the MEMShop program’s support from the City of Memphis and Communities Unlimited (formerly called alt.Consulting); and financing from River City Capital.
