Doce Vida

Neila had dreams of opening her own bakery. She came to Communities Unlimited and received a loan and business consultation. She was able to find a retail space in Alexandria, LA, and opened Doce Vida Brazilian Bakery, using the CU loan to purchase the baking equipment and décor for the store. Despite the COVID-19 crisis, the bakery continues to thrive.
