Tamp & Grind

After the sudden death of her husband, former teacher Amanda Phillips needed help keeping their Alexandria, LA-based coffee shop Tamp & Grind afloat. With a small business loan and business management consulting from Communities Unlimited, Amanda was able to expand her business in time for the opening of a nearby nursing school. The shop is celebrating 10 years in operation this year.
