Sardis, MS, is a small town in northern Mississippi that Communities Unlimited began working with because of problems with their water system. CU staff quickly realized that Sardis would benefit from other services that CU offers, including healthy foods and entrepreneurship. CU has been able to assist the town in starting a thriving farmers market and has planted the seeds of economic development with entrepreneurship training.
