Lake Tenkiller, OK

Communities Unlimited began working with the Tenkiller Utility District back in 2003. The water district formed from several entities who wanted to regulate their own water and water rates. Communities Unlimited assisted with providing information to the various entities and deciding on which ones would actually start the water system. They also assisted the new utility district with applying for state and federal funds to build the new water system. Currently, CU is assisting on the Letter of Conditions after more than $17 million was awarded to the district to build the water system.
