Employment Law with Wake Forest Law Clinic

As businesses grow, they will need to add workers. Making the decision to add a worker is often an early, and important, step in business growth. It is important to classify the worker correctly, that is, treat them as an employee or contractor. It is also important to take care of the business’ information and avoid misunderstandings about the workers role, term of employment and other details. This seminar will cover how employees and contractors are defined, the use of employment contracts, and liability issues, including workers compensation.
