Area Director of Rural Housing

Audra Butler

Audra Butler started Communities Unlimited (CU) in 2022 as the Rural Housing Area Director. Audra has more than a decade in subsidized and affordable housing leadership and homeless advocacy. Over the last 10 years, Audra has worked with nonprofits and organizations focused on creating pathways out of poverty. As the Rural Housing Area Director for Communities Unlimited, Audra develops a rural housing strategy and offers a modular housing manufacturing program. Audra works in communities to help community members better understand housing and what their community needs.

Audra formerly served as the Interim Director and Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Fayetteville Housing Authority. While there, Audra led the organization through leadership transitions and organizational restructuring, stabilizing operations and allowing the team of housing professionals to continue providing services to thousands of Arkansans in Northwest Arkansas. Audra also served as the Chief Operations Officer for Community Programs at ARVAC, a community action agency in central Arkansas, directing operations in 9 counties and expanding the organizations homeless services and transitional living program.

Audra lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas and works out of Communities Unlimited’s Fayetteville office.

Come Home Regional Manager

Kapriskie Mack

Kapriskie Mack joined Communities Unlimited (CU) in September 2023 as a Community Housing Technician. Kapriskie leads client scheduling and delivery of housing services, provides technical assistance and strategic planning, facilitates grants, and markets housing products to rural and underserved communities. Kapriskie focuses on serving the Arkansas Delta region for CU. In February of 2025 she was promoted to Come Home Regional Manager.

Before starting at CU, Kapriskie was a Project Manager for Carnegie Learning. She has a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Memphis.  

Community Housing Facilitator

Kamilah Tatum

Kamilah Tatum, Community Housing Facilitator, joined Communities Unlimited (CU) in January 2025. She oversees client scheduling and the delivery of housing services, provides technical assistance and strategic planning, facilitates grant processes, and promotes housing products to rural communities. Kamilah focuses on serving the East Texas and Deep East Texas regions. 

Before joining CU, Kamilah worked as a Resident Caretaker for Heartis Longview Assisted Living in Longview, Texas, and spent several years in Human Resources with the United States Army Reserves. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from LeTourneau University.

Community Housing Facilitator

Vinetria Johnson

Vinetria Johnson joined Communities Unlimited (CU) in May 2025 as a Community Housing Facilitator. She supports the delivery of the COME HOME housing model in rural and persistent poverty communities, working with residents, stakeholders, and local leaders on community housing assessments, Healthy Homes evaluations, education, and technical assistance to promote safe, healthy, and affordable housing. Vinetria serves the Mississippi Delta region for CU, helping communities build local capacity to preserve and expand housing opportunities.

Before joining CU, Vinetria served as an alderwoman for the Town of Friars Point, Mississippi, contributing to policymaking, budgeting, and community development efforts. She previously served as the Affordable/Tax Credit Housing Area Manager for The Michaels Organization, where she supervised 48 staff and managed compliance, budgeting, and tenant relations. Vinetria brings more than a decade of experience in property management, education, admissions, and workforce development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Jackson State University.

Regional Housing Manager

Courtney Gibson

Courtney Gibson joined Communities Unlimited (CU) in July 2025 as Regional Housing Manager. In this role, Courtney oversees the daily implementation and management of CU’s housing services across a large region. This includes supervising housing team members, coordinating housing preservation and repair projects, and supporting communities through housing education, technical assistance, and planning.

Courtney brings over 20 years of experience in property and portfolio management, with a background in multifamily, commercial, workforce, and affordable housing. He has led operations across various asset types, including Section 8, LIHTC, student housing, and luxury properties. His work has focused on occupancy growth, regulatory compliance, resident engagement, and team development.

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus in Marketing and Sales from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Southern University in Baton Rouge. He is based in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Community Housing Facilitator

Andrea Johnson

Andrea Johnson joined Communities Unlimited (CU) in September 2025 as a Community Housing Facilitator. She supports the COME HOME housing model in rural and persistent poverty communities, working with residents and local leaders on housing assessments, education, and technical assistance. Andrea serves the Louisiana region while also supporting communities in Arkansas and Texas.

She brings experience in community engagement, having worked with Civic Heart Community Service, the U.S. Census Bureau, Special Health Resources of East Texas, and the Housing Authority of Texarkana. With a background in education and homeownership counseling, she has helped families gain stability and independence throughout her career.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum & Instruction. She also holds certifications in housing, education, and health services, including as a certified Homeownership Counselor through NeighborWorks America. Andrea resides in Texarkana, Texas.
